In a game that ended in a 9-0 forfeit vs. the PB Local Angels, the real story of the day belonged to Lefty Sean Helm, who logged an 11 inning, 238 pitch, 17 strikeout performance while scattering six hits and only allowing only one walk. We appreciate your efforts and of course, your service to this great country! Congratulations on your fantastic effort.

In what was a five week layoff due to weather, the San Diego Regulators (6-4-1) turned in a come-from-behind tie vs. The San Diego Vipers (4-6-1), 9-9.
It didn't look good early, as the Vipers performed on the mound and at the plate- staking themselves to a 9-2 advantage that lasted until the sixth inning, when Regulators started crossing the plate in earnest. The Regulators tied the game in the eighth, and in the ninth-with runners on second and third, Rosado hit a high pop to the third base fenceline to end the game.
Best of luck to all who made it into the Fall Playoffs, and Happy Holidays to all!

In a game played under ominous skies and threatening conditions, the San Diego Regulators advanced behind the steady pitching of current Navy E8, Sean Helm. There was no doubt who would come out of the dugout to finish the game as this was a masterful performance and an error free day for the Regulators on defense.
Behind the offensive bat of Active Duty Marine Rene Rosado, The Regulators have advanced to face the East County Mariners in the semifinals of the Fall Sdabl season.

In the Regulators first tournament ever, the recipe for success proved to be a come from behind mentality that continued into the semifinals vs the Kern County Stars.
Coming from behind in the first game, the Regulators defeated the Socal Orioles, 7-3. The next game up was vs the Kern County Stars, which was tied and nearly ended with Aaron Jackson's bases loaded fielder's choice with time running out forcing a tie and giving the Regulators a bye into the semis where they would again face the Kern County Stars.
In that game, the Regulators jumped ahead 4-0, but couldn't hold the lead. In the seventh, the Stars went ahead for good, 5-4.
Fantastic effort and no quit makes this squad special!
