NABA Orange County Kickoff A Success As Regulators Reach Semis In Tournament Play

January 19-21, 2018

Great Park Irvine

In the Regulators first tournament ever, the recipe for success proved to be a come from behind mentality that continued into the semifinals vs the Kern County Stars.

Coming from behind in the first game, the Regulators defeated the Socal Orioles, 7-3. The next game up was vs the Kern County Stars, which was tied and nearly ended with Aaron Jackson's bases loaded fielder's choice with time running out forcing a tie and giving the Regulators a bye into the semis where they would again face the Kern County Stars.

In that game, the Regulators jumped ahead 4-0, but couldn't hold the lead. In the seventh, the Stars went ahead for good, 5-4.

Fantastic effort and no quit makes this squad special!
